Wire Harnesses?

Hi,

I am swapping a D16A from a 90 CRX SI into my 90 Civic LX sedan.
I was wondering if they specifically made any wire harnesses that I could just plug and play instead of tryin to rewire everything converting it to MPFI.
Is there a wire harness that if you had a new SI ecu it would plug into that then into the new engine wireing harness?

Thanks

i think Hasport sold a converted to mpfi dx harness, you just pay like $200 and have to send in a stock dx and stock si harness.

even if they made a conversion harness for the engine, you would still have to run wires from the ECU out to the engine bay as well as repin a couple plugs for the two extra injector wires. You would have to changeover the entire car harness.

i think there is a fortune to be made in the wiring side of swaps... premade harnesses and whatnot... adapters, etc...

Running the extra wires is not that hard at all. If you can wire up a radio, then you can wire the ecu.

I cant think of who sells them, but you can buy an adapter taht you can plug straight into the orriginal wire harness, and then straight into the d16 ecu so you dont have to repin it. but my friend told me it costs about 120 dollars. i will try to find a webpage for you.

thanks for the info guys.
I would greatly sppreciate it if you could find that web page that sells a adapters that allows me to just plug in. So if I had that all I need is a SI ECU.
Also the reason I am going to D16 is because I got a good deal on a Si engine out of a CRX. and anything is betta than the D15 DPFI.
At least I would be getting DPFI.
thanks

Hold on guys.
Someone told me that if I am just swapping a D16A6 SI MPFi engine into my LX car.
I will only need a SI ECU and just use the wiring harness that came with my SI engine? That way I wouldnt have to wire it differently?
I dont know if its true or not

Thanks

you need mpfi too dpfi will not work w/ the si ecu.
