Ok are coilovers the same as springs? Or do I have to buy springs and coilovers? I have seen people posting that they have Skunk 2 Coilovers with Eibach springs???? I need some help.

last time i checked, springs and coilovers were pretty much the same thing, except arent coilovers flat on each end? and springs just end at a certain length?

coil-overs are not the same thing as springs. a spring is just that, a spring. but a true coil-over is a spring and shock combo. they are engineered to work together. the advantage of a true coil-over is that you have the proper damping for the spring you are using. usually, if you just throw a set of springs on your car, you will blow through your shocks (the dampers) quickly because they do not offer the proper compression and rebound resistance. hope this helps.
