Have a 2008 Impala, 3.9 engine, 182K for miles. Trying to chase down engine oil leak. Looks to be the oil pan towards the right side. Engine support under pulley end of engine gets oily first and then it spreads all over the oil pan area and then drips. Crank pulley seal has been replaced and that is not the source of the oil. Do not see any sign the oil is coming from higher up on the engine. Looking for any ideas or what others have seen so I have an idea what to attack. Thanks!

Oil pan or oil pan gasket.

And you know for a fact that it is not coming from the crank shaft area? That seal replacement could have been done wrong.

Maybe look at the oil pressure sensor, the innards can wear out and they begin to leak. Also the gasket behind the oil filter adapter is good place to check.
