Thinking of buying 2001 Saturn SL2

I'm looking for some opinions on if I should purchase a 2001 Saturn SL2 for 1700$. It has 103k miles on it and has been well maintained apparently. I'm just a little nervous that the transmission or something could break in 20k miles. I don't want to have to face any major repairs in the next year or two.

Tune up @ 80k miles in 2010 (spark plugs, ignition wires, fixed an engine misfire problem).

Tune up in March 2013 (plugs, wires, coil, 02 sensor, carbon treatment to pistons and combustion chamber)

Brakes were replaced in 2009. and again in 2012.

New Battery 2014.

Passed inspection in the last week.

The reason they are selling is because they are moving to NY.

My SL2 had 89k on it a few years ago. I now have 177k on it. Runs like a top. I could jump in it and go anywhere if I wanted to. The transmission fluid is as easy to change as the engine oil is. Same with the trans filter. The water pump was a challenge to replace but it's nothing you can't accomplish in an afternoon. I say go for it.
