Veneno

This is an unusual case. First time I've seen this car by visiting of the Geneva Motor Show in 2013 I didn't like this car.

Later on when Fujimi had realised it in 1/24 kit I didn't ordered it by the same reason. But when the kit with engine was introduced
my curiosity has prevailed. This build is according to the competition which named "Club 300+" on the Russian forum http://www.scalecustoms.ru , that is mean that this competition is permit to take part the road car which speed is over 300 km/h.
I must to say that the quality of the kit is much higher than usually for Fujimi. I think Fujimi has received the 3D model from Lamborghini. That's because the proportions of the model and each part are perfect. When I started to work with this car my opinion started to change from "-" to "+". It is a little bit strange:uhoh:, but I started to love this car.:cwm27: By the time I love it more and more.
According to the rules the build must be finished before the end of this year. So I've decided to build this car.
As I wrote the kit is almost perfect, but some inaccuracies was detected. I will try to correct some of them. This is the review:

Ohh yay!!! Someone building a Veneno!!! Fujimi just released the DX version, no engine but comes with PE parts, mines on order, cant wait!!

I'm paying close attention to this thread -- mine arrived yesterday. One question that's bugging me -- what colour is this thing? I'm not talking about the Rosso Veneno or those special order colours, I mean the "OOB" silver/grey/metallic black. It looks different in every photo I've seen - sometimes silver, sometimes dark. I'm thinking of using Zero Paints "Graphite Grey" which is like a slightly pearlescent Panzer Grey, but I'd love to know what you're going to use, or anyone else who's planning to build one...

Excluding Roadster model Veneno was painted in grey metallic only. I'm going to use an automotive paint which will be ordered in a paint shop, but I don't know the code of the paint yet.

One seat is almost ready. I will add a matt coat on the cushions after the second seat will be ready.

By all means go for the closest match you can find but I wouldn't limit yourself to the production color. In reality I'm willing to bet that if one can afford this car, and I'm sure they are made to suit the driver. You could have the car painted in a color of your choice.

Matt I've got a similar Zero paint color, Grigio Silverstone - albeit a Prancing horse color, but looks close enough to the Veneno that I'll probably use or.... gloss black, as I've just seen on the Internet, a Veneno Roadster ordered in ;-)

Hello I like this kit and your work..... my compliments....
I already bought the S27 decals and waiting for the kit (curbside)
One question: on the seats (fantastic) I see the red sewings on the central cushion....
It's quite impossible to see them on the decals..... (not to the naked eye)
They seems all black... isn't it?

There are some reflects on the black surfaces at the time, but hope these reflects will be gone when I implement a matt coat on them.

Last time I was trying to make a new muffler end by using of this PE set:

Unfortunately, all four parts in this set have wrong shape and bigger dimensions than it should be. Another problem is that the PE parts in the set are very fragile and three of four were broken during bending. The original muffler end will be used. I only have opened the holes in it. This is the comparison.

Thats Terrible! usually AcuStion stuff is really good quality & accurate!
Hence the steep price tags on everything they sell!
I still reckon the Veneno's exhaust should exit through the triangular support brace between the lights! but thats just me

May I ask where you purchase those "bolts from? Its a bit hard to see in the pictures but they don't look like photo-etched parts but rather actual bolts?

There was no other colors of the Veneno besides a lite grey metallic. I will mix a silver metallic with a solid black. It will be used an automotive paint (probably Sikkens). Hope, you will see it soon.

Ive seen a few people wondering what the colour is, its quite nice & changes alot depending on lighting. very smooth silver too!
& your Right - the 4 coupes where all painted silver with either Red (x2, 1x for lambo to keep), 1x White & 1x Green graphics / highlights / seats / brakes etc. I kinda thought Studio 27 wouldve released a decal set for the White car & the Green one too, I really want to build the Green one!!
The Roadster came in any colour you wanted. heres a thread, theres a gloss black, Matte Black & other ones. I really like the candy red colour myself!

BTW. Fujimi forgot to make such big parts as engine mounts. They have a very complicated shape, and of course I could make them much better, but I have no time to go this way. Also I have added the more realistic shape for the rear differential and have made the new propeller shaft. This is dry fitting before painting.

You should check out the Pocher Lambo instructions available for download on their website, theres 40+ pages of highly detail CAD drawings. Its a real head scratcher even when you have the pieces infront of you, but im sure youll find it useful!

The Pocher kit looks good enough, but unfortunately it has many inaccuracies and simplifying. It looks more like a toy. I haven't found any interesting information for me in this manual. Anyway, thank you for the kind advice.
