Nice dude...that is way better than your run a couple weeks ago.
b18 power!!!! :biggrin2:
That launching stuff with a FWD is tough..those RWD peeps have it easy. Brake on left...gas on right...hold both, let one up at last yellow :icon16:
How did retarding the timing help? Did that help the 60ft times?? or are you still having some other issues??

I dont understand. You ran a 14.5 last sat so you retarded your timing to gain a 14.5? Or was there another thread somewhere and I just dont know what im talking about...

i only got one run because of the rain and it was 14.5 so i retarted my timming(distrib) to give me more top end and less bottom because i was spinning off the line

That's really not too bad, I wish there was a place around here where i could run at, but...., no tracks around here, not even a dyno.

LOL - typical Slower Maryland establishment not having the date correct
Your 60' time isn't too bad....when I went to the track on street tires I drove around the burnout pad because someone told me you don't want to get them hot...what do you think works best on those drag radials??

for drag radials you want em hot, cuz they grip better, also set the tire pressure down to around 15-20 on street tires and from 5-8psi on drag radials for the best traction.

the best thing for traction is a set of slicks. i run 10 lbs in my drag radials. i dont think my 60' if good because i spin out of the hole. and yea you dont want street tires hot because the compund gets oily
