Silver Colored IAC on Windstar '99

Is this the right one to have? I thought there was some talk about possible black and silver IAC being the right one due to some issue. Mine is silver, is it ok?

Are you talking about the dpfe or the idle air control (IAC). If the former, I'd still use it until something happens and it throws a code. The replacement ones are black abs plastic but the oem ones are silver. fwiw, my 2000 still has the original one and is going fine.
