shaking when starting sometimes - every 10th time or so..

not sure where I should begin. Van is well maintained but has 250K km on it.

Please explain, does it shake while cranking to start or after engine has started??

It does this after engine has started.

I'm assuming no codes were initiated. ?? If that is the case, a failing fuel pump would be high on my list of "usual suspects"!

Of course change that fuel filter first!

my '00 does a rough idle after startup for 5 seconds from time to time. i've thought it to be the IAC but i have not chased it further. 200k miles so far on the original IAC.

This works great. I sprayed the throttle body cleaner after sliding off the intake hose and cranking RPM....so far so good!
