There was match together the headlamp covers and the body. The molds were too big (approximately plus 0.3-0.5mm on a contour).

Don't follow me. I'm a perfectionist. You can buy this kit and assemble it in usual way (for resin, of course) with little corrections. There is no alternative for this beautiful Aston in 1/24. This would be a very nice model anyway.

There was no headlamp washers on the prototype. But Hobby Design has made the production car - it has bigger rear view mirrors than the prototype. I have been compelled to add washers.

Then I decided to glue the rear view mirrors before painting because the basis and the door are made as a whole and it looks fantastic.

I'm using the model knife which you can see on the eighth photo from below. Finally, a grid paper P400 has used to smooth lightly the edges. The masking tape was used to draw lines and then to start cut the lines by knife. Then the light scratches were deepened and widened slowly without any additional devices.

As you see the hood was opened. I think the next update will be done only after completion of some scratch works on the 7.3L beast.
