Unfortunately, the front bonnet was deformed by itself after the short time period. :( The heating can't solved this issue, and I decided to glue it with the body temporarily, to correct its shape by a polyester filler, to make a carbon fiber copy. Just now it looks like this.

Yes, the hood is turned out very strong and rigid as a spring despite of 0,5mm thickness. I had used an epoxy resin SP115 as well as for the black gelcoat and for the impregnation of the carbon fiber fabric.

i really think some of the great model builders like yourself are not human... hahaha Congrats on your beautiful job!!

I met a problem with the body paint. It was all time sticky and I had to remove it. The perimetre of the engine bay was deformed by itself, so I have been compelled to strengthen it with a steel rod. Also the separation line was added to the rear view mirror.

Ouch I thought the previous paintwork looked stunning, its a shame you ran into trouble. However atleast it looks repairable.. so are you going to use the same colour second time round? or perhaps something different?

The paint problem has already solved - I've bought the paint from Spies Hecker. The colour is the same - Honda G82P Cypress Green. The previous paint was the overdue water base PPG.

Mikhail, I finally purchased this kit, and will use your build as a guide for correcting the body. I hope that you'll finish your kit before I finish mine! Mine won't be as detailed as yours, of course.

I'm planning on painting it Concours Blue, which is similar to the Villa d'Este blue featured on the show car.
