Will flashing the TIPM fix a missing LTS?
If I remove C4 and put 12v on pin 1, my left fron turn signal will light.
This is the second time I had this problem. Last time I bought a used TIPM from a salvage yard and replaced mine. I see no difference in the left circuit and the right circuit with and ohm metewr, so I don't know why it happened again. The used one caused the speedometer not to work and a constant red safety restraint light until I reset it with a standard after market ODBII code reader. The code reader is not able to read Chrysler specific codes, but the reset worked for the two problems above. I tried a reset for the left turn signal, but it did not fix the problem.
I asked my local Chrysler dealer and they said they did not think a reset, flash was likely to fix the problem, but if I wanted to try, they would do it for $150.00 wether or not it worked.
Also; Anyone know where I can get the electronic circuit schematic for the TIPM?
Thanks
