hi folks
so my wife's 2000 3.8 van tripped at po1516 and 1518 last night on her way home. I know that's intake manifold runner malfunction and stuck open but I'm wondering if anyone has had these 2 codes before? The runners are intact, the notorious plastic clips not broken, metal arms in etc. There was a bit of engine gunk around the block which I cleaned off and then lubricated the runner thinking the "stuck open" part seems kinda odd.
Just wondering if anyone has found this before.

I haven't had these codes on our '00 - so I'll be watching this thread closely!

ya, this is new for me. I'm hoping the imrc stuck is external stuck vs rip the top end open stuck.:uhoh:
