please help im stumped...

ok i love my 01 impala 3400 i think . i have 239000 on car almost everything removable is changed motor 112000 trans 134000 car is running extremely hot but not overheating no leaks causing trans fluid to burn i have changed 3 times this month will shift funny slip jerk change fluid its good again first time shot tcc code trans heats up too check engine light will come on car will slip or pop out of gear on hard take off or if moving will keep kicking like in and out of od trans will act up till cool reconnect battery good to go again cat is clogged im 85 percent sure some dumbass that i bought from had a tiny aftermarket put on what should i do i have 5000 dollars in this car im ready to junk it i cant take it anymore any advice will be hepful would the cat cause trans problems or should i think transmission its very weird it goes away comes back next day new fluid its like new

The hydrostatic Transmission needs a constant hydraulic pressure to do the shifting that needs to be done, if the deliverability of engine isn't there, it could make the Transmission look bad.

1) Check your coolant fans.
2) Coolant pressure test.
3) Coolant bleed procedure.
4) Do a back pressure test on both catalytic converters.

Whats the proper bleeding procedure

Doe's your Heat work on high max?
Is there any shortage of coolant?
Does your coolant fans turn on when your HVAC is on cool max?
Do you have any bugs, or road litter in front of your radiator + air cond condenser?

You might consider a coolant flush + back flush on your heater core, new thermostat, because of age + mileage.
