My van is in the shop (as some of you know) and in taking off the driver side knuckle/hub/bearing assembly, the bolt and threads of the bolt and knuckle just completely rounded all the way... ruined.
Now as I've found out it is very difficult to find an assembly like that all together and with the BOLT. I can't even find an OEM replacement set, let alone anything new. I can find lots of used stuff on ebay, but no bolt listed. I feel like I'm facing not driving the van again because I can't buy 1 stinking bolt.
Anyone know where I can get this stuff anymore? Know part numbers? Is there a "BOLT SOURCE" 3rd party for cars somewhere? I will settle for used etc... I just need it bad or basically the van sits on a rack in the shop.

They should list it on the FORD dealership parts department computer.
Also.....if shopping ebay....send the seller a message telling them that you want the bolt also.....maybe they will include it for you.
As far as shopping online parts.......I would see what rockauto has listed on their website.

Looks like its going to be ebay/salvage yards. I talked to FORD today at someone who was open and that knuckle has been discontinued and isn't available OEM anymore or 3rd party. The bolts were available though, so I ordered some spares.
Looks also like the 95 hub/bearing are different up to 7/95 and from 8/95 on till 98's was the same, but the knuckles on all of these 95 - 98 were same... so this makes it even harder since I have "THE BABY" earliest model Windstar produced.
I have ordered one for $40 from some junk yard, while the repair shop is trying to say that whoever worked on the knuckle (I guess that would be the only other time I replaced struts) before tightened it too fast and too hard so it ruined things when it was unbolted. I was gonna say it was in there since the van was made, but since someone else has replaced the struts before I guess I have to eat it. The repair shop is trying to get one for $150 with full assembly and bolt, but I have the $40 one coming and bolts separately coming from Ford... we'll see which one makes it here first.
Meanwhile the van is on a rack wheel-less.
