So, it's out...

Who's going to see it? I think I'm heading over to the movies tomorrow with some signs saying not to see it. There's just something about Walker driving a Skyline.

hahaha, I'm going out to take pics and laugh at all the lil boys out playin in their lil cars tonight.

I wanted to go soooo bad tonight. Everyone in school was making a huge deal out of it and trying to get tickets. I was making fun of all of them for thinking they are such nice cars but I was greatly outnumbered. I just wanted to go and laugh at all the rice and yell stupid things... Childish, yes... but funny.

haha this is funny. The cops are in full force tonight in Floridas orlando area BECAUSE of 2fast/.
i saw 10 cops at different times on a 20 minute trip to the bank and my school. It was insane. I saw 3 on the way to the bank driving up and down the road 2 near the grocery store at the bank one impala near my school 2 more "camping" at the local Walmart and 2 more cruising up and down my road near my house. LOL it was like the whole damn orlando police force decided to come around here.

The news should be on @10 im going to see what else it has to say.

saw it yesterday and it was awesome! some scenes were incredibly fake!!!! like driving yenko 427ci camaro off a ramp at 120 mph and landing on a yacht with only a broken arm:confused: :confused: but other than that it was awesome! go c it. i will deffinetly c it again!

Damn, man. This movie ruined my night last night and I didn't even see it!!! I went to a local "yuppie" theatre, and only found 2, yes TWO, lil riced out cars. The DelSol barely even counts b/c it only had a giant shopping cart wing... no APC tails. The Neon, on the other hand.... :( Damn, I was really looking forward to some good laughs at the expense of some lil rich asshole's mommy and daddy.

according to the Toronto Star, some media corporation from the GTA held a mini rice car-show in the parking lot of the big theatre near us last night to build up hype for the movie. i'm still down and out with my wisdom teeth, so i didn't go to check it out.

also, GTA police are cracking down on street racers HARDCORE! they've started the ERASE program (Eliminate Racing Around Streets Everywhere). which is good and bad. good being the idiots who actually do street-race are getting theirs. bad thing being the 5-0 are pulling over anyone they suspect of street racing. this means that even if you have a modified car, but don't participate in racing, you could be pulled over.

i just saw the movie again! i just cant get enough of this movie! but to me this is like a different type of movie the first fast and the furious. the first one was mainly about brian being a cop not much race scenes. 2nd fast and the furious is all action. non-stop racing, guns, money, girls, etc, etc, etc.

Favorite scene: mustang got crushed be a 18 wheeler ( sorry to those modern mustang fans )

at least you like the good cars in the movie and not the ruined Skyline and others.

no i kinda like the skyline as well! not a bad car but not its got 3 holes from the electric spike
EDIT: i picked up " the fast and the furious cars " book yesterday! its awesome. it tells u the specs, how they got the car, etc, etc. i cant believe they only have 10 skylines all over usa! i am shocked

Pros and Cons of 2F2F:

Pros: The Skyline (got taken out by the cops), Supra (ate shit on the landing off of the ridiculous, unrealistic bridge jump scene), and S2K (same as supra) were put out of their misery!

No crap, It was much better than the first one, A) nowhere near as much rice B) good ol muscle cars C) the acting wasn't great, but it was better than the first one, Luda did pretty good I thought. D) I think they actually tried to have a main point in this one other than racing ricers. It was worth the money I thought, pretty funny, the fighting scene between the blonde dude and Tyrese. And the funniest part of it, where they race the Camaro and Charger, Tyrese is revin his damn 4 cylinder and laughing then the dude in the Camaro revs his engine and the whole damn car shakes and Tyrese's face goes straight and everyone's like "oh shit":spit: I guess before I seen it I was expecting nothin but a bunch of riced cars going around doin 80mph or sumthin and thinking their fast but it turned around and was pretty good. All except for wrecking the Vette, Stang, Camaro and Challenger, and it was stupid, The Viper and Vette would have easily gotten to that dudes Ferrari first prob but oh well, main stars weren't drivin em so I guess.

anyways the movie sucked ass, the only cool parts are the skyline(before it crashes) and the camaro, charger scene. everything else is crap...the acting and especially the dialog...

sure it had it's funny scenes but the thing is that many kids are going to believe this bullshit and try and get skylines from now on...now no one will ever take the skyline seriously...oh well...back to the drawing board...

I doubt many kids will be able to get an R34, and I'm sure many don't know that the new Skyline is the Infinity G35. I know when the preview first came out for this movie, and I said how nice the Skyline was, a lot of people didn't even know which car I was talking about. I think the movie will increase the popularity of the car, as it will increase the number of riced out S2000s and EVOs...

I went and saw 2F2F last weekend, but I made sure to do one thing before the movie started. I reached underneath my hat and turned off my brain, after asking my friends to remind me to turn it back on as we left the theater. This is important, follow my logic...

If you turn off your brain, you will be able to accept the movie for what it should be accepted as: 90 minutes of entertainment. There was one scene in the beginning that involved a bridge. When I saw the scene inevitably developing, I was so frustrated. I said to myself (out loud!) "There’s no way, no freakin way. That is ridiculously impossible" A guy to my left got me back on track by saying, "You're thinking. STOP thinking"

Very simply, 2F2F should be a movie you go see to entertain yourself for 90 minutes. Don't go if you want to learn about cars, or how to drive them, or how to be a good actor. EXPECT the cheesy lines, the impossible stunts, and the hyped up cars, and the unrealistic races. If you don't expect it, it's gonna be there anyway, and you're just going to start whining to the rest of us who really don't care in the first place.

[ Man, GET OVER IT... this movie was'nt made for racers, it was made for everyday people. If the Skyline did'nt jump the bridge, the movie would'nt be as entertaining. Movies HAVE to be fake to be fun (most of the time) About FWD cars drifting... none of the cars in the begining race scne were FWD, they were all RWD, even the Skyline they used.
The movie makers care more about entertaining 100 non-racers than 10 racers so this movie was'nt aimed towards the racer crowd, so get over it, it's gonna be fake.
The S2000 can throw that flame if it wants to, hav'nt you ever seen the flame thrower competitions? There's Chevy Novas throwing 50-foot flames up in the air. The flame looks nice, it's what people wanna see.
You go ahead and make a realistic racing movie and you'll be like all the other "midnight-racer " documents which are boring as hell. And you'll see how little money you'll make with a realistic movie.
What you see as a "ricer", others will see as a nice car. I love stock-looking cars and my aim is to have a fast sleeper and I really dislike body kits but I like that green lancer. I don't care who calls it ricer, if it runs a mid-12 1/4 mile... it can get-away with looking like that.

How much of the driving in MISCHIEF 3000 was legal? I've seen that moive (Parts of it) before and it's without a doubt awesome, but half the entertainment I get from it is the fact that some guy in his 360 Spider could at any second get hit and die, (really die, not 'die' in the movies) while passing on the breakdown lane behind his uddy in a RUF R turbo.

I suppose I hate Hollywood too though, everything's fake there, the people, the stunts, the lifestyle.

i saw 2f 2f today.. but i want to ask what is that spray that comes from the side of the skyline at the start? its like some device connected like the BOV shooting out a spray... just a few people wondering what it is and what purpose it has?
