2006 Impala keyless entry not working

My oem keyless entry suddenly stopped working. The lights flash when I hit the open button and the horn sounds when I hit the lock button but nothing else happens. The lock buttons on the doors don't work either. I pulled the 10A fuse that the manual says is for the keyless entry but there was nothing wrong with it. Is there something I'm missing?

Thought I'd get back with the outcome. Actually there wasn't any. The locks started working by themselves the day after the problem surfaced. Could locking and unlocking the doors with the key have had anything to do with the cure?

If the door locks were not working, using the door lock buttons on the doors, it wasn't a keyless entry problem...
