PO340 Error Code

I am having trouble ridding my PT of the 340 code.

My OBDI reader states that it is the Cam Sensor.

I replaced the Cam Sensor and then it threw a PO344 code. The 344 Code stated that it was the crankshaft sensor. I then replaced the crankshaft sensor.

Things seemed fine for a few days and it then re-threw the PO340 code. Since I purchased an aftermarket CMP, I decided to replace back the Mopar CMP. Again things were fine for a few days.

I then researched and some stated that the wiring loom was getting too hot. The black corrugated plastic sleeve that contains the wires had been cracked and nearly disintegrated, so I replace that and moved the wiring harness away from the coolant hoses. Yet I still have the code.

What is the solution. I have ordered a new Mopar CMP from the dealership and am awaiting that part.

Also the green seal inside of the CMP is failing and leaking a small amount of oil, could this be the culprit?

Thank You.

try and wiggle the harness near the throttle body. There is a tie strap that holds the harness to the tb the wires tend to go bad
