Been working on the bell housing for the gearbox.
First the fixing points.
http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a210/puffyrs/engine37.jpg

Next the housing for the starter motor.
http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a210/puffyrs/engine38.jpg

Next I cut a circle to cover all the fixing points.
http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a210/puffyrs/engine39.jpg

Then added the outer edge and strenghteners

The only problem here is that I don't know if there's anything I can say that's actually going to be of any use to you - this is fantastic! The engine is looking great (loving all the pulleys - life would be too easy if we machined everything from solid, wouldn't it?), and the gearbox has that mix of different detailing (webbing, bosses, mounting points, etc) which brings it to life. From the look of your cutting mat, I totally understand (and sympathise with) the work that's gone into this!

All I can say is - keep going! Now you've scratch-built an engine and gearbox to this level of detail, I don't think there's anything else on the car that's going to cause you a problem...

Have fun!

You've got to be pleased with how that's looking - worth all the effort, right? I always find bending exhaust pipes to be a pain, although it's become easier with each project - I use clear flexible tubing for the pipe over a wire core which I can bend to shape. Using styrene tubing must add to the fun-factor, though!

Hello
Built the sides to the frame so I could build the fuel tanks.
http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a210/puffyrs/sides1_zpsb891eb1f.jpg

I was having problems building the tanks out of plastic so made them from modelling clay.

Need a bit more work.

the rough bits will be trimmed off and you will not see the backs away.

As the books say.
" the Lancia appeared with additional engine oil reservoirs, something which did not please the scrutinisers. But aren't post rally scrutineering problems a Monte tradition."

They were allowed torun.

Been painting up the engine parts and adding nuts and bolts.

Is a long time that there are no updates have lost interest in this project?
Would be a shame for who as me follow this thread, the project is really ambitious and the quality of scratchbuilt is top-notch for a unique model in this scale. Can you tell me something about the wheels?

See you soon.

finished after to have bought the Renaissance transkit to take the measurements I need.
