Washer jets

I have just bought a '01 Sport and the washer jets will only spray 6 inches up the glass.
After checking for leaks or a pinched hose I came to the conclusion that it must be a weak pump. So I installed an oem pump in the tank and found it has made no difference at all ! Has anyone got any suggestions what to look at next ? The jets don't seem to be adjustable so I can't aim them higher, do they wear out ?

I used to have problems when one of the hoses got caught between the wiper's arm but say you already checked that, so the next step would be to either use compressed air to blow inside the lines and get rid of any debris or the other solution would be to buy new hoses and replace them all.

Problem solved ! I replaced the two jets and I now have full glass coverage. I suspect a previous owner had tried to clean them out with a piece of wire and in the process wrecked them.
