99 SC2 Heater Core

I need to change the heater core on this car. I looked in a Haynes manual and it looks like the heater core is located towards the center console and comes out without removing the dashboard. Does anyone have access to AllData to verify if this heater core comes out that easily? Thanks. Bob M.
