2003 ls 3800

Hey great site here ,new here....weird sound when engin turns off,vacuum leak sound.....2 sec...after :eek7: engin off.Any info would be awesome .

I'd take it you mean a "Woosh" sound 2 seconds after you turn it off? IIRC Its caused by a dirty Throttle body. No harm really.

What he said. It can also be caused by a dirty Idle Air Control (IAC) valve, which is part of the throttle body. It's easy to remove and clean, won't take more than an hour if you go slow and it's really dirty.

Ya that too. and if it IS that, commonly also have a whistle from like 900rpm-1600rpm, especially on cold days.
