Unknown vacuum part - Mercury Sable 99

My power brakes failed, and upon inspecting under the hood I discovered there was a broken plastic part in the vacuum system (see red circle in photo.) I removed the four hoses attached to it (sort of - there's still one attached) and brought it into the auto parts store. They didn't know what the part was either! This makes it rather difficult to replace.

I'm hoping someone here can tell me what this is. Two pictures show the front side and back side of the part. The last picture shows the little plastic casing that holds it in place under the hood.

After a long search, I found out that this is a 5 port vacuum connector, or a vacuum manifold which seems to be only available through a dealership. The part has been ordered!
