Peaple,
Fujimi announced this kit (http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10133244 (http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10133244)). I do not understand, what are these decals?
Because she has not released the kit with decals of Fia GT cars ?

I think the decals (or livery) is pretty cool. The girl on the livery is a Japanese 'virtual' pop star (there is another thread that actually shows her in concert as a hologram). I think the decals will DEFINITELY be a challenge, that's for sure! But, if done right, it would certainly be pretty cool!

In a nutshell, a Japanese company Crypton released a PC software using Yamaya's VOCALOID voice synthesizer technology, and instead of giving generic male/female voice patterns, Crypton created the character named Miku Hatsune, and the software became a mega hit, spawning a wide range of character merchandise, including CDs, figures and even a live(?!) concert. (Just google "Hatsune Miku")
The car is 2010 spec GT3R freshly delivered to the Japanese team in May, to replace the 996 (also Miku livery) amid the season.
Despite the carefree appearance, the kit will probably be quite challenging because the body is almost entirely covered with decals. But the point is that the kit will open possibilities for after-market companies to release decals, wheels and most likely an RSR conversion kit. So, I hope the kit will sell well, and hopefully Fujimi pays more attention to Le Mans and FIA GT racers.
BTW, the team just announced that they'd use BMW for 2011 season (they raced Z4 M-coupe in 2008 and 2009), so Z4 GT3 in 1/24 plastic is a possibility.

That would be cool. I would consider building this one....

It could be a great kit. I would only be interested if the kit comes with a rollcage etc. and the nose can be replaced with a 997 GT2 version with an aftermarket resin nose. This kit could become a great base if so!

I am hoping to build one as the boxed version with the Japanese decals and one with Flying Lizard decals for their ALMS car.
Hopefully there will be an aftermarket sheet with the Lizard MS paint scheme
Now it is Christmas time and I am gonna fast build the Tamiya Golf V5 just to get rid of it and clear some space for the 911 GT3...
