So i went as far as checking the left side of the brakes and both the front and the rear wheels are hanging up, I assume the other side is doing the same... i was thinking bad hose to a caliper or bad caliper till it was both brakes... can the abs system play a role in this? where should i start... i plan on pulling the car in the garage and start checking it out soon...

Check the condition of the fluid in the master, I have seen this happen when similar looking fluid like p/s fluid was put into the m/c, swelled the cups and caused the brakes not to release. Brake fluid will kind of dry up when rubbed in your hands, p/s will stay oily. Plus they do not mix. Also when the brake is tight loosen the bleeder if it releases it is not the calipers. the hoses or m/c but not both. Post back the results.

Sounds like the brake system needs flushing, or changed.

update: i got the car jacked up, with all the wheels hanging, and both front brakes where dragging hard enough that it was very hard to turn them by grabbing the tire and trying to spin them... both front wheels were equally as hard to turn... the rear brakes too were equally as hard to turn but turned much more freely then the front... do these cars have a proportioning valve? or is it incorporated into the abs system?
