I have an 01 3.8ltr with 136k. It recently requires you to start it twice. The first time it starts and promptly dies. Second start it keeps running. OR it will start on one try and bog down quickly and then run normal. Where should I begin my problem solving?
Thanks,
Derek

Also replace Air filter, and clean the MAF sensor with CRC electronic, or CRC MAF sensor cleaner.

Hello, we bought the car this summer so I have no clue when the fuel filter was replaced. Where is it located on this model of car? I know I put a new air filter in but have done nothing with MAF.
Thanks for the ideas!

fuel filter is under the rear of the vehicle next to the fuel tank.
GM says to replace this filter when the engine has starting issues..I found 30,ooomi is the correct time to avoid damage / getting stuck ..
