Wheels

hey! i am looking to buy a set of steel rims for my 2006 impala. it currently has 16 inch alloy rims on it now. i have found rims that are the proper size but are for a different manufacture. ie pontiac, ford. my question is well they work on the impala?

Caution! Whatever wheel you use make sure it fits tightly on the hub or axle and not be held by the lug nuts alone. Good Luck

Does your new wheels have the same bolt circle pattern and wheel offset as the originals ? As for getting the proper wheels , the lower cost base Impalas came with steel wheels ( and wheel covers - .ie. hubcaps ) so you should be able to find some at a salvage yard for a reasonable cost if the ones you have don't work out .
