Putty has made gaps thinner as I built my own wing uprights which are more in scale and therefore thinner than Tamiya's.
Look at page 8 - there are detailed pics of this modification.

Jaykay - I should read your message before I started painting... Disaster strikes hard:

If I manage to get out of this troubles without repainting and redecaling the whole body I will buy myself BIG vodka.
I think the thinner gets to it, too much thinner :frown: such is modelling,

I am trying not brake anything so I dry everything twice as long as usually :).
Stiil at paintig stage. I have all painted Gunze Cool White and those headligts...
http://i16.photobucket.com/albums/b22/Macio4ever/ARTA_NSX/148.jpg
corrected.
http://i16.photobucket.com/albums/b22/Macio4ever/ARTA_NSX/150.jpg
Still thinking about red color. I have made test shots:
Left: Gaia Premium Red + Tamiya TS-36 Fluorescent Red [1+1 layer]
Right: TS-36 two layers
Both on Gunze Cool White.
http://i16.photobucket.com/albums/b22/Macio4ever/ARTA_NSX/149.jpg
Left seems more opaque and vivid but right more "fluorescent". Still not sure.

Very nice and clean work. Sweet!
For the final clear coat i'd go for 2K...and then sand and polish it. I know that some people get a very nice finish with a final wet coat of clear but for me that never works :-)
I'm surprised, Jaykay. I do a mist coat or two and then two wet coats with U Pol (a 1k urethane clear). Works like a dream, as long as it's heated up in a dehydrator...
I hope everything turns out well, Macio. I had the exact thing happen with my Matra MS-11. Extra decals later, I finished...:(

Had a good day for decaling. All of the box decalos are on as well as CF rear hood. I need to add two CF more inside front fenders an it will be done.
I have clear coated whole body before decals with one layer of Gaia clear.
Second decaling was far quicker - it took me only 1/3 of the time of the first one. Experience... :)

Haha... i know that experience :-) The same goes for scratched parts. Second or third time is always quicker. Problem is....that usually happens after "accidents", so it doesn't really speed things up :-)

Now we have 5 thin layers of Gaia clear. Still far from glass like surface but believe that anything can be done :)
I sprayed thin layers to stay on safe side with the decals. I guess that at least 2 wet coats will be required to start polishing phase.

I wish I would have noticed this build earlier. It's got a lot of very usefull information plus it's just a great wip to read. Clearly you are a very skilled model builder. I wish I had your patience, like with the CF work and the fantastic interior. The electrical connections are excellent and I like how you took the time to make a stencil to get all the switch holes perfect.
Nice and neat job!
This push me to do housekeeping in my workshop :D
Very neat and clean, and the photos are very well done too, just adds to the whole experience.

I gave up with the 1K and went back to 2K. I think (hope) successfully this time. Pictures about 2 hours after clear coating.
I started with 1 dry coat followed with 1 wet after 10 minutes. I used heavy thinned Dupont Duxone.
After about 3 hours I sprayed 1 quick dry coat and after a minute 1 heavy wet coat with 2K thinned about 10%
Finally mist few coats of pure thinner after about 40 minutes. It softens surface allows levelling and release trapped fumes of thinner which cause little pin holes.

Jaykay - I think I was pretty lucky this time but let's not prise the day before the sunset... :) I hope that after polishing it will still look spot on.
Now, I am back with CF business. Front air intake... It took me 2,5 hours and 17 pieces of CF to cover visible parts of that thing. PITA and it still needs some minor corrections.

I think that this is last mod for NSX. I created new exhaust tips. Tamiya has prepared the same exhaust for all of the teams. It is correct for Raybrig but not for the ARTA
This is how it looks like:
