Leaking brake line

95 Sable, the brake line squirts fluid out the leak is under drivers side passenger door. Looks like a rusted pinhole in the line.
Can this be fixed and how difficult is it? Does the whole line have to be replaced?

If you have clean, rust-free line on both sides of the hole, then a short repair line CAN be put in place with compression fittings. I say CAN because I don't recommend it. It would be something I'd do just to get the car home and then replace the entire line, and only for the back brakes since they usually use a lower pressure than the front. If the hole isn't from a visible rub spot or impact from road debris, then the whole line is probably rotting out and should be replaced.

Don't use Compression Fittings. If you must replace a section of brake line, do it with Flair Fittings.
