00 3.4 L ~120K miles
really did take care of this car
was driving home from work
temps were OK than it started to increase pass mid point
before i was even able to pull over into the emergency lane it loss all power
didn't want to start
I got pushed over to the e-lane
popped the hood and to my surprise there is anti freeze in the engine(creamy orange milky) and theres a little puddle of it near the passenger motor mount.
how could this of happened? no warnings...
just got the oil changed and changed the cap to the radiator Saturday it was running fine.
I've ignored fixing the intake leak but from what I've been told that could of not been the cause..
how much is this head gasket job?

An intake leak on a Chevy 204-inch V-6 is a common path for coolant to contaminate the engine oil. The corners of the coolant passages will empty right into the lifter valley and sump.
Before condemning the head gaskets you might want to research the condition a bit.
Either way, get the coolant out of the oil ASAP before permanent bearing damage occurs and you buy an entire engine, or at least a crank kit.

so your saying theres a possibility this could be minor? I plan on taking this to the dealer next week to let them look at it. I was just gonna let it sit i see no harm unless I try to run it.

i seriously think im gonna have to trade this in for a toyota or nissan.
I'm looking at my options might even do an engine swap.
