Possible paint problem 2008 Impala

Months ago I noticed a small spot about the size of a match head on the hood of my car. It is round and has small cracks. I know of other paint isues and figured there was nothing GM would do about it. I just washed my car this past weekend and noticed at least 10 more identical spots on the hood, roof and trunk lid. Most of them are approximately the same size. There are two however on the rear posts that are the size of two dimes.

I tried to do a search before starting a new post and didn't come up with anything.

Any GM owners out there with the same issue.
I have a 2008 Black LTZ first owner.

I have a 2003 Impala - blue - that is having the same issue. I googled the problem and nothing comes up for this vehicle. I may write to Chevrolet and complain.

paint issues are IF YOUR LUCKY ONE YEAR... rust thru is another story..in any case if it is under warrantee they will do a poor job...

with a vehicle that has a total paint failure best get rid of it before it starts to rust up with blisters..repainting a vehicle with those problems and black would be 2,ooo.oo to do...
