Clock spring wiring for 99 Winnie

When I removed the old clock spring it had a wire with an odd-shaped brown connector which was attached to the keyswitch. The connector pulled out before I could see how it attached but it has a single thin blade that apparently pushes into a cavity in the switch. I need to know how to connect the lead from the new clock spring to the switch. TIA Clint
