we have a 2003 windstar in our shop right now and the original complaint was no cold air from the unit... after repair of the system which included the compressor, accumalator, and oraphis tube, flush of condensor and front evap core and evac and recharge the system would read one preussure and be cold and the next day the pressure would read higher and due to fear of overcharge we pull some out... then the following hour the readings are too low again... let it sit overnight pressures come back up again, original repair used aftermarket parts, customer returns and we replace accumalator with a Motorcraft part and still the same results... has anyone ever seen this on this particular year windstar...

It maybe that when you originally flushed the condenser, not all the debris cleared, or it resettled in a bad spot for flow. This can happen especially if the original compressor failure overheated and caused the " Black Death" syndrome, plugging everything up. Your original fill pressures work and everything seems fine, but the condenser is partially plugged and causing a high heat, high pressure condition with more use of the AC for extended periods. Simply the heat has no where to go and pressures rise.

I would recover the refrigerant, and inspect the screen on the orifice closely looking for debris.
Not sure what flush solvent you used, but if you flushed thru rubber hoses, that can cause internal hose swelling obstruction that you can not see. We replace hoses, if high mileage.

You naturally added the correct amount of oil in the new compressor and 2 oz.'s additional for a flushed system.

The condenser is probably plugged to 1/2 capacity and I hate to say it but the condenser will probably need to be replaced if your flush did not clear it already.
