aged windstar what to do

We have a 1998 windstar, that has been thru the ringer, but still trying to keep it going. I have had the trans replaced once, tie rods twice, sway bar link kits, door light, dash lights, brakes, wheel bearings ( sounds like one of them is going again), speed sensor, etc. This poor beast has 220,000 miles which is not bad this model, from what i have been reading. Its now doing several strange things, hesitating, choking going uphill, the trans is acting up again with the overdrive light blinking, seems to do this when its hot, not so much in the winter if at all. I am sure it probably needs something major but i am trying to get a few more miles out of it before letting it go. There are several sensors that i have read about that could be part of the problems i am having, does anyone know any and all symptoms that these sensors cause, are if one is causing the rest to act up? Where they are located, and how much trouble they are to get to and change?

tss sensor
trs sensor
shift solenoid
torque convertor clutch solenoid
electronic pressure control solenoid
powertrain control module
throttle position sensor

I believe some of these are inside the trans. some days it will run fine then others are a nightmare, thats why we believe it could be bad electronics, but the fact remains it has a ton of miles on it. Thanks for any and all info.
