2001 Ford Windstar airbag code #14?

First I am new to this forum, but not new to fords. I just bought a 2001 Ford Windstar van. The airbag light is on. When I first star it the light will blink one time then 4 times.
I read that sometimes it is a bad connection under the seats. I checked those and they seen ok.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. I can't afford to ge to a dealer.
