06 PT Cruiser stop lights going out

Is anyone else had their stop lights going out all the time? I have changed my stop lights at least 10 times since I bought the car 3 years ago.

I assume by "going out" that the bulbs are burning out? and yes this is unusual to lose so many over that period of time, have you tried different brands? or maybe a "heavy duty" bulb? maybe check the ground wires coming off the bulb connectors at the body, is it both sides equally? or 1 side that seems to burn out more often?

Only one mistake that was my fault on my Demonized 2005 Pt. I had a trailer hitch installed by U haul. To make it short, Hah, really, one wire was touching the exhaust system that crossed from the passenger side to the right for lights. Bulbs were blowing out constantly. Just a thought. Good luck.
