Is there anything new news about #05R's condition after auction and possible location?:)

When i was at Goodwood the other week i got talking to one of the guy's from Lanzante who look after GTR'S. I said to him that i would one day love to see 05r ,and about it's auction at Le-mans classic.To my suprise he told me it was in their workshop in pieces!
I wondered if anyone else knew about this ,or had anymore info.
He thought it could be at Goodwood next year.

In several of the photos taken at the auction it was clear there were issues with the car that needed to be sorted. Glad to hear it is getting the intensive therapy it deserves. I am curious to see if anything will be done with the paint again.

I can't remember - was it in a 'racing patina' state or more like the paint that was on #014 at the Auction when it was still yellow?

Please don't change the paint...

So, it left only one GTR in France.

My problem with the paintwork has been described in earlier posts. My biggest issue with the current version is that it doesn't match what was on the car at Le Mans. It is close in many respects but there are obvious differences.

As long as it doesn't end up orange... :uhoh:

Maybe we can get some details Mr.Bellm in the future, did he said that #05R is in pieces this moment, full restaration?

Are these images from 2011 or last year?

It was At Le Mans Classic on monday. I suggests and asks to organise this photoshoot. Unfortunately for me, I couldn't be there but Arnaud and Eddy did an excellent job given they move a little the car.

Edit : not sure these are new, I recall post them there.

Looks like you did post the link earlier - I just don't recall seeing all of those photos. :dunno:
