Good evening,
after three years I dug a long dead project out of the grave. Some of you may remember the WIP of the
"what if Subaru made the Outback a generation earlier" (http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=674398) WIP thread.

Well, here it is... finally finished *sigh*

Right now I'm about to make several ski, to be put on the roof. I also just noticed that I forgot the front license plate. Will fix that....

I could have a lot of fun trying to get that stuck hehe. Looking at the weathering detail, looks like you already tried. Looks good though, kinda like a factory aftermarket add on.

I like the finished product even more. Great choice of wheels. I'm glad you didn't put the other wheels from the WIP.

Yea the wheels look good, although I think it sticks out a little bit too much. Some red mudflaps and side steps would make it stand out even better.

I noticed the Norwegian flag on the hood and the rear. Why did you put those on? ;)

Hello everybody,
I didn't expect that old bugger to attract a lot of attention,
so thank you very much for the kind comments :smooch:
The Norwegian flag was on the decal sheet I stole the Subaru and
STI decals from. Just thought it would make the stripe a bit more lively.
The car could be owned by a Norwegian who emigrated to the states some
time earlier...

Im not digging the stripe, but the overall build is impressive. Terrific job on it. Seems like your putting alot of new built models on the shelf lately!

That's correct. This year I plan on finishing most (or all) of my old WIPs.
So.... stay tuned :naughty:

Sehr schön!! Very nice build!! Excellent weathering under the car!! Nice diorama too!!
But, as a true Porsche fan, I'm really curious about that white 911 in the background... Looks like a 997 GT3RS... could I see more pictures of it? Which kit is that?

This is is quite an original and very cool project! The stripe doesn't add to the awesome effect for me but the rest of the build is truly terrific! I especially like the stance! The weathering looks convincing and realistic! Congratulations on a fantastic build and good luck on trying to finish your WIPs this year!
