ALL SUV's SUCK EQUALLY. They are useless, overpriced, overweight pieces of shit. No matter if it's the Honda Pilot or the Ford Excursion, it's still useless.

Also, don't ever compare something old with the new design. New design of course will have some better features and improvement.

Yes the Passport sucks, so cry me a river and flood the world. I do have the money to buy a Pilot but I don't have the money to buy a Lamborghini, but I won't hate the car just becuse I can't buy it. From another honda tech....im doing another motor replacement on another passport...this one only has 40 k miles on it the first one had about 55k on it.....damn thinhgs...im so glad there gone...

passports and rodeo's own every stinkin suv out on the market today. I've got a 99' isuzu myself with 45 thou miles on it. Runs great and smokes camaros, hondas, bimmers, all the suvs out there. So yall SUV haters should shut up before i find yall and smoke my tires on your sorry ass. :bandit:

jesus christ it's people like you that make suv owners look bad. you own a heavy, high clearanced SUV and you're talking about racing. suv's are good for certain things: towing, carrying people and cargo, and offroading.
street racing is lame enough as it is, but racing with an suv is just stupid and shows you should've bought a civic instead of your passport/rodeo. everyone knows honda is the last company you'd expect a REAL suv from anyways so why is this discussion even happening?

I own a 1994 honda Passport that has not given me any mechanical problems so far. I do the maintenance religiously on that vehicle. It gets me from point A to point B. We have four members in our family, we go camping quite often so we needed a larger vehicle, not because it looks cool or because it "owns" every other SUV out there. I liked what it had to offer and i don't regret it buying it. It has been a great vehicle for us. :rolleyes:

When properly maintained , they are great. But when your mechanic has to change a motor at 40-50 thousand miles from poor maintenance and all the bolts are rusted on....then they suck....
