I just installed AEM cai yesterday. Man! It took me almost 3 hours......I was tired as hell (I did it alone). I really think people who say it's easy are genius.

However, it rained later last night. I took out the bumper lens and found that my filter was wet. I've been told that it's fine as long as I don't drive into lake or something, but I'm still kinda worry that water would suck into my engine. So, am I ok or I should get a bypass value? Do u guys' filters are wet during raining day too?

here's some pics....:)

Haha...it took me almost 3 hours as well and I even had someone to help me! But as for the water you should not worry about it unless you drive over big and deep puddles.

Everything was kinda tough for me, includes removing fender.

As for the sound, I don't really feel any difference since I already have exhaust. All I hear from the engine is the shooshin...shound. However, I did feel alittle hp gains....

i think it took me about 45mins for mine. i think the hardest part was taking out the old intake box...thing had screws hidden everywhere. once we got one more out and thought we were done we found another...

i would say it helps a bit. you can feel a bit more power, espically at higher rpms. not to mention it sounds really good.

yeah....u right. It only helps a bit and I only feel a little bit more power. As for the sounds, I don't really feel different since I've already got exhaust.

how in the hell does it take someone 3 hours to change thair intake? In three hours i can change both my CV axles and wash the car. It took me like 20 minutes to change mine.
