Mine is fairly self-explainatory also. Porsche=Good Cars=Me.

For a hobby, I build kits of model cars. A long time ago, I built models of sci-fi junk, then for a long time I didn't build anything.

I got interested in cars about the same time as the S2000 came out, and when it did, I happened to come across a kit of it. I decided to build it as a Silver Stone Metallic S2000, my favorite color. So, it just happened to be the car that got me back into modelling.

That was about two years ago, and I still haven't finished it. It sits, partially assembled, in its box under my desk, with about five other kits that are on my "To Do" list.

"Rebel" is actually one of my street names . . . one used mostly by family . . .

when I first entered the online community I subscribed to 2 e-mail accounts . . .

the first was at Yahoo . . . I wanted to choose a user ID that represented the real me and at the same time allowed me some anonymity. Why not use my street name?

I also wanted to have my e-mail addy read as though it were a complete sentence . . . hence:

i_rebel@yahoo.com = I rebel at yahoo. com . . .

In other words I actually perform the act of rebelling while at yahoo . . . let that sink in . . .

I also like the name i_rebel, because it can have a dual meaning depending on how you pronounce it . . .

it can be a self affirmation . . . "I" Rebel . . . like saying: It's me, Steve . . .
or it could be an explanation of my nature . . . I rebel . . . like saying: I dance . . .

I was really into Star Wars a few years ago. Anyway, "The Great Heep" was, in the cartoon Ewok movies (I think), a big pile of junk (not s***, I've gotten that one many a time before :D) that could talk and stuff. Kind of like the "All Knowing Trash Heap" on Fraggle Rock. Anyways, I've always been a fan of talking junk heaps for some reason, so about 6 years back I used "TheGreatHeep" as my username for everything, especially IRC. People got tired of typing "TheGreatHeep" and so it got shortened to "Heep". I've just kept that since.

mines not very hard to figure out but for the morons i happen to love the skyline more than any other car so i made skylineskill all. i came up with it in about 10 secods when i first subscribed to carforums about 3 years ago

Dillweed was used 'cause I would impersonnate Beavis from Beavis & Butthead. Everybody said I could do the voice and the look perfectly and that if ever they made a movie with real caracters, I was the man. (Being blond and having the ability to stick out my jaw pretty far helps)

So anyway, my cousin would call me dillweed once in a while because Butthead would say that to Beavis, and when I got my first e-mail account, that was it. I still use it 'cause it's sorta my "Internet Name" as I call it.

I've had an interest in greek mythology for some time now, and I've also had a lifelong interest in dreams--quite possibly the only major area science hasn't been able to completely explain. Morpheus is the greek god of dreams. The name simply serves as a link between my two interests. XIII is the roman number for 13. I tend to adopt other people's bad luck superstitions as my own good luck charms (examples: When I owned a black cat, I was prosperous. When I knock on wood, shit happens). Therefore, lucky 13. Kind of oxymoronic though, since I've formed a name with greek AND roman references, and those two aren't supposed to go together.

Oh, and bald black guys looking for the "one" are interesting enough, but they're not part of this explanation.

Same here, but now I know. I remember when your S2000 signature pic still had the windshields--I was really confused then, but then they must have tried driving under a semi and got the crew cuts, so it makes much more sense. That combined with the explanation from earlier, and now the world becomes clear, heh.
