WARNING !!! DO NOT TRUST REPAIRS AT HEMANN CHEVY IN NEW BADEN IL.
I took a 1996 chevy cavalier to Hemann chevy for timing repairs. They also got the car up to date on all recall notices. I paid them almost 1,300.00 for repairs. when we went to pick up the car it backfired, caught on fire in the electrical system and was totaled on their parking lot. both Hemann and chevy corp ignored us. stating that we paid for the service and was satisfied upon payment for thier services. no lawyer would help because they said all we would get would be a new car and they could not keep 33% of a new car. Please take your automotive needs elsewhere. thanks

dealers are dicks, and theres one here in san antonio tx called Freedom Chevy use to be Smith Chevy, and over a month ago we went to go buy a used truck the sales guy named Chris "ill leave it at that" was far to pushie then to make matters worest he was about to sell me the truck with out my parents consent....so after all that was over with i said let me think about it ill get back to you that was on a monday then for a month stright he called 27 times finaly we went to the dealer and got someone else to sell the truck to us, His name is Herson, very nice guy and much easyer to deal with better then the stupid mangers, so then later when we went to pick the truck up Herson wasnt there that day so we have to deal with the dick head chris and long story short they locked the keys in the truck, then....after us waitin on the truck for 2 hrs they finaly decide oh we can look up the vin number.....so in the end we got 2 keys and when we asked for more keys dick head said oh we can only have 2 keys per car.....so all in all it was the worst experence ever....Herson was the best sales guy and i think he should have been moved to manger because he handled everything correctly compared to the so called mangers and other sales reps so ya theres my 1 cent at how i feel about dealers

Funny thing is i lived in New Baden for about 8 years. I wouldn't recomened going there to buy something but what did you do that cost $1,300 seems a little fishy to me. I am very good friends with some of the guys in Collinsville at the dealer for that matter a brand new motor for pretty cheap

Ok if you want a lawyer to help you put a laysuit on hemann i can get you one cause they can get them for the price of the car the amount you paid for repairs back pay for your job since you have no car and a little extra for having to put up with their bullshit. then you can take that money and go the the idiots at DEIN or something like that and go there

Funny thing is i lived in New Baden for about 8 years. I wouldn't recomened going there to buy something but what did you do that cost $13,000 seems a little fishy to me. I am very good friends with some of the guys in Collinsville at the dealer and I would think that if a 1996 needed 13 grand in repairs they wouldn't touch it considering you could get a new one for that. and for that matter a brand new motor for pretty cheap
Decimal Point :slap:
