Mitsubishi Lancer WRC 2005 MonteCarlo

Hi guys! I have finished the long project. For assemblage I used a copy of a set from Studio27, bought on eBay.The complete set contained only a forward part from pitch and a detail from white metal.
Primary colours of a body have been painted.Decals I have printed.I could not make some logos, therefore there are small discrepancies.Headlights and back lanterns hand-made.
It is a little photo of process of assemblage and ready model. Thanks for your viewing.

Perfect! What kind of material did you use under the exhaust in the middle of the car?

Too gastone: About, here all is simple. It is a foil from a pack of cigarettes.

Very nice model, perfect work !
Especially your carbon work, impressive !
The tail lights aren't accurate though, because the correct clear part is missing in the Ebay copy. But almost everybody jump over the correction.
The finish is great, knowing you used self made decals.
Congratulations !

Too rallymaster: Thanks. When I did tail lights , looked at a photo. Yes, at me they have turned out more darkly. I needed to hide pasting places.

Re: Mitsubishi Lancer WRC 2005 MonteCarlo

Nice close up pic of the tail lights, but color shade isn't was I wanted to point out.
The top of the tail lights is on the 05 WRC now straight and tail light itself is also a bit shorter because external side comes through the body panel (not side by side with body as on the Evo7) which isn't visible on your model because you enlarge the fender instead of shortening the glass and putting it to the inside of the body.
I hope you see what I mean.
I had pictures of my modifications but I cleared my gallery and erased all pics of running projects I still haven't touched since months (years !).
Anyway, this particular accuracy detail is forgotten by almost all builders who don't want to correct the light and choose simplicity by using original Evo7 part.
That doesn't change your great work and result !

Simply beautiful, considering you didn't have the original s27 kit. I think its one of the best ones i've seen. Can you explain how you created the scratches on the diffuser. Paint brush?

Too rallymaster: Yes, I have understood where an error. The tail lights above and a corner of a bend is more.

Too MidMazar:Thanks. At first I have painted protection silver TS-30 Then from above black TS-29. Then an emery paper has made damages.
