Re: Hamann wheels

You mean like this?

These might be available both in 20" and 21" in about 3 weeks!

That's just the crud 3D printed wheel with some primer on it. The finished product cast in resin should be better.

I'll just need to know what you guys are thinking to use for tires in order to be able to decide the exact size for the wheels (diameter + rear wheels width, the front ones will probably be rear wheels that are sanded to the right width).

The latest edition Fujimi 20" BBS have suitable tires for use with 21" wheels, so that might be a starting point for 20" Hammans.
For the 20" ones there isn't to much choice out there, maybe you got an idea about a good set of tires.

Re: Hamann wheels

That's rather good timing!!! The only thing I would say - the rears are quite heavily dished compared to the fronts - you might need to have a think about maybe supplying a couple of outer spacers for the rears depending on the car they're going on?

As for tires, I've not got into checking these - however I'd guess that the Fujimi 20" tires could probably be stretched to fit 21" and this might also replicate the lower profile?

For some reason, having surfed the Hamann website for a couple of days, I now have a desire to start building some!!!

I'll think about a good and simple solution for this problem.
It will probably be front wheels with spacers for the rear ones.

The Fujimi 20" tires are in fact 21" ones.
Now, who makes correct 20" ones? Maybe one of the new 20" Aoshima wheel sets contains the right tires. Is there anyone who knows more?

Aoshima's 20s are the same tire that comes with the 19" wheels.

yes I know, its only a test with less spokes, looks better for me,
but the design is not my favourite wheel, I cast only the challenge wheel in resin

Where do you get the tires you use?
