Ford RS200 Street Version
This is Modelers 1/24 resin rally kit converted to street.
The kit is very simple, the engine bay is just a clump of white metal which requires a few parts assembly and detail painting. I painted it with TS49 Bright Red with a tip coat of TS13. The interior is a mix of black and aircraft interior black. I took some liberties with the front of the car and added fog lamps, Tamiya nylon screen was added all around. The rims are Aoshima, the brakes are from Fujimi. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Re: Ford RS200 Street Version
Rare subject! one of the rally monsters from the 80's!
still look fierce to me though, still one of the most beautiful cars existed in my view. well done veyron, very sharp looking! say, how much did you pay for the resin kit? cheers! msrc SGP

Re: Ford RS200 Street Version
Wow! These are such cool cars. Pity they were never made in plastic. The paint is just amazing! Beyond words, really. What makes the RS200 on the front mesh? Aside from the wheels being a little wonky, this is just a perfect build. Great work!

Re: Ford RS200 Street Version
Looks keelair
Front track looks narrow, but dayum...this looks so good (and cooler than the one that inspired it) I keep churning the idea of taking an MR2, a Geo Storm, and presto-change-o, one faux RS200 to go. By the time I get to it my mind will be off in another direction...

Re: Ford RS200 Street Version
Beautiful, very Smooth & Glossy.
Just a little problem, some of the lines are washed while some don't, personally I think washing all of them might be better. |
