Install POD air filter on non turbo skyline R33

Hi guys, i'm new to this site, and I've got a R33 Series 1 (non turbo)
my mates say i should get pod air filter to get the sounds.. is that true?
and with a series 1 does the pod fit? if so could i get some directions on how to put one in please? thanks very much guys

Unbolt the stock air flow meter from your air filter box. Buy an adaptor to fit the pod filter to the air flow meter and you should be set.

If you want an awesome sound, I would suggest getting a full kit from unifilter.com.au

Yes, it will give you a good intake noise. A paper pod filter will not give as much noise as a foam filter on a non turbo motor.

Hey i've got the pod installed, but it seems there are no sound from the intake, I do not know why? It's installed correctly because i've had a mechanic look at it, and he said he would have done the same to it but he doesn't know why either..?

That is odd.

I would consider getting a set of extractors and a 2.5" exhaust fitted, which will let the motor breath a bit better and it will suck in a lot more air.
