I've made a great new friend - you'll like him

Hi everyone

I have had some recent email conversations with a guy who by all accounts must have the best job in the world (well, in the AF.com-F1-fans world anyway ).

He has had some 'contact' with #13R recently and has given me the go-ahead to post some pics he has shared with me. Apparently he has had contact in the past (around '95 and '96) with European owners of F1's, and I hope to be able to share with you some more of his photos in the future.

These pics were taken at Dunsfold at what I can ony presume to be a shakedown test

Your friend's contribution is very much appreciated.

I assume he will be attending the GT90s Revival too?

Re: I've made a great new friend - you'll like him

Hi all

I had a nice lengthy indepth chat with my contact again last night, and he gave me some more info relating to his contact with F1's. He remembers seeing the brown F1 with the gold wheels, either in Nuneaton where the cars were painted or back at Woking. He didn't remember the car after I described it to him, so I emailed him a pic and he remembered it straight away, and it seemed he also wasn't too keen on the colour choice! He couldn't remember the chassis # though, he had contact with so many back then apparently!!!

I hope to get some new shots and info on the Lark #13R off him soon too, watch this space
