Re: New Camaro project

Hi !

You took a lead on me " Johnny Boy" I have to steep it up with my Camaro now. It is all primed and ready to receive 3 coats of black, and will do some special painting to it, but that is a suprise.

Your Camaro looks very nice ! did you paint the weels ?

Re: New Camaro project

Looks good.I've received mine. Strange plastic, very soft but the attach points are sooo big ....Mine will have a closed hood coz when I seethe engine, no way I show this !!!! I was thinking in a silver outside and a red interior (ala SLR) or orange metallic with 2 Black stripes.
I've put some smoke on the wheels, it looks nice too

Re: New Camaro project

Looks cool.

And could you tell something about AMT kit? Is the body straight and is it going well with the chasis?

Well, the body ( one piece) is straight and well detailed, but I worked a little bit with one piece at the rear of the car that is not fit very well ( a picture is coming soon) otherwise the kit is ok. The wheels and tires are well done! I'm working now on the interior so I will post some information soon.

Re: New Camaro project

Hello, here is the piece from the back of the car that need some work to fit good. I painted interior (very basic) insegna red but with some details I believe it will be ok. Later I will sand the full car with 6000 to 12000 grade to upfully give 3 last coats......

Re: New Camaro project

Thanks for reply.
After my GT40 I said 'AMT - never again', but looking at this one - who knows. If you're saiyng it's not bad, I have to add it to my 'to do' list.
