Do you find this to be odd?

driving an F1 on the track with both doors wide open?

Yes, I find it extremely odd. Clearly the cooling system does not work. The car is obviously very slow. And the doors don't seem to close either.

I agree wit mini majic and payso it is probably a very slow demonstration run on a very hot day. Not sure how strong the gas struts are on an F1 but would think any sort of pace over say 50mph would create enough air pressure to push the doors closed. Am sure I have seen a picture of one of the racing GTR's on a slowing down lap with the doors open in a similar fashion.

Just a little bit of speed definitely pushes the doors down.



Stranger than this even, is the small shot of XP3 being driven by Gordon Murray on pg 160 of "Driving Ambition" with no doors at all.
