dsm injectors?

ok, i know they will go on with a little modification... but a friend that "knows hondas" and has worked on them for years said that a first gen dsm injector will not only fit, but plug right up witout doing the resistiors or the box... is this true? or does it still have to have the 10ohm resistors?

you might have to drill out the o-rings a little to get them to fit, but that's not a big deal. If you have an OBD1 car, the injectors will clip in, but if you're OBD2, then you have to get a resistor pack and a set of injector clips from an OBD1 Honda

so obd 1 hondas can use 1st gen dsm blue top injectors without any mods?? then what is the whole dead end plug and the resistors? only for obd2?

For OBD1 and OBD2 cars you're going to have to drill out the Orings to get the DSM injectors to seat properly. The difference is that OBD2 cars need a resistor pack in order to run OBD1 injectors (i can't remember but i think those are Peak and Hold, while OBD2 injectors are saturated)

concerning acuras and civics, both obd1 and obd2 systems run on saturated injectors. obd1 and obd0 injector clips are the same. unless your wiring is already made to run peak and hold injectors, you will need the resistor box or some inline resistors.
