Wink umm..bad or good....peugeot307 by tamiya

some say it is the worst of all tamiya's carmodels.maybe you are right. lots of mold lines , every slit need to be deepen.its really under the standard which tamiya had set. .but i love this metal chassi , i like the simple way to build a car. with this, i can finish the chassi and the interior in just one night. so...have fun and continue Complaining the bare breakdiscs.......oh ...and the exhaust which looks like shit.......i changed it with brass tube..looks pretty good uhh?

I don't know what you expect about modelling, but myself SURELY NOT to build a model in one night !!
Humm... You may try Bburago kits, I'm sure you could finish it in one... hour !!

What I do expect myself about modelling is to give me some great challenges building kits with the most accuracy and details possible...
I expect to find back the cars that gave me passion, emotions, pleasure on the roads of rallies ! So I expect to find them back in my collection the most accurate possible !

That's sure if it doesn't matter for some people, no problem for them which such poor accuracy kits !
(about chassis and under panel shall I precise, body lines are still the best and interior is still finely done!)

But such a shame...

Phil

I think we've all got so used to Tamiya turning out great rally car kits this ones such a shock....does sit very nice though, lovely aggressive look to it. I look forward to seeing this one finished, though not in one night eh!!

At least wheels look mighty fine
I wouldn't complain to have it, only thing that bothers me about this kit is higher price then other rally kits.

Same

This is why most of us complain about this kit, because we want details and we never make a model in one night. This is not a 1/24 Hotweels we want, or we would get a Diecast. Anyway, this Tamiya kit is the worst, and they won't have my money on this one. Yes it can look good, but it just don't sound fun to make at all for a "real" modeller. (please don't start a war about the "real" modeller, it's just an expression)

It looks nice, just too bad it has so little chassis details.

Re: umm..bad or good....peugeot307 by tamiya

I don't give a shit at all about the chassis. The rest of the model looks up to Tamiya's standards so far. It's not like they made the other rally cars with engines. And if you really wanted to, you could modify the suspension. BTW, I love the wheels on theym pugs. Good.
